2 Injured in 8-Vehicle Crash on SH 286 at Saratoga in Corpus Christi

Two Injured in Corpus Christi 8-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 286 at Saratoga

Corpus Christi, Texas – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in an eight-vehicle crash in Corpus Christi, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 3:00 p.m., February 28, in the area of State Highway 286 and Saratoga.

Authorities said a car was traveling northbound on SH 286 access road when it ran a red light at the intersection and hit a city bus that was traveling eastbound on Saratoga. The bus continued eastbound and hit several other cars.

Two people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The crash closed the intersection of Ayers and Saratoga.

The crash remains under investigation.
