Mac Arthur Brantley Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 45 in Dallas

55-Year-Old Mac Arthur Brantley Killed in Dallas Crash on Interstate 45

Dallas, Texas (July 18, 2019) – One person was killed in a fatal crash involving a wrong-way driver on Wednesday morning in Dallas, according to the authorities.

The accident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, on Interstate 45.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, an Acura was traveling southbound in the northbound side of I-45 when it collided with an oncoming Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Mustang, Mac Arthur Brantley, 55, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Acura, Cesar Torres, 24, was taken to Baylor University Medical Center with major injuries.

Deputies said Torres will be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

The crash is under investigation.
