Officer Injured in Bryan Two-Vehicle Crash on Villa Maria at Wellborn Road

Bryan, Texas (October 19, 2021) – According to the police, a Bryan police officer was injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Bryan.

The crash happened on October 17, at the intersection of Villa Maria and Wellborn Road.

Police said the officer was driving a patrol vehicle eastbound on Villa Maria while another vehicle was traveling westbound.

The other vehicle failed to yield the right of way while turning left on Wellborn and struck the patrol vehicle.

The officer was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.

The other driver was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way.

The police are conducting the investigation.
