Two Seriously Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (February 8, 2022) – Two people were seriously injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash, just south of Lubbock, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m., on University Avenue between Woodrow Road and FM 1585.

DPS said a white SUV was traveling southbound when it failed to stay in its lane and was struck by a northbound pickup truck.

Both drivers were taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
