Vincente Pena Killed in Conroe 18-Wheeler Crash at FM 1314 and Exxon Road

Conroe, Texas (November 29, 2023) – One person was killed and another was injured early Monday morning in an 18-wheeler crash southeast of Conroe, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 4:10 a.m., November 27, at FM 1314 and Exxon Road.

Authorities said a 2021 Freightliner semi tractor-trailer was traveling southbound on FM 1314 when it started to drift into the northbound lane and collided with a northbound 2020 Mack semi tractor-trailer.

The driver of the Mack truck, Vincente Pena, 71, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Freightliner was taken to the HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe in serious condition.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
