Gary Carr Killed in Martin County Train Crash on Interstate 20
Martin County, Texas (May 26, 2021) – According to the troopers, a man was killed early Saturday morning in a train crash in Martin County.
The deadly crash happened around 3:30 a.m., May 22, on the south service road of Interstate 20, near mile marker 163, 7 miles east of Stanton.
Troopers said Gary T. Carr, 56, of Midland, was driving a Ford F-150 westbound on the service road when he left the road and drove across the median, onto the railroad tracks where the Ford was struck by a westbound train.
Carr was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were provided.
The troopers are investigating the crash.
