Krystal Shelton Snyder and 4-Month Old Boy Killed in Granbury Car Crash on Tin Top Highway

Granbury, Texas (October 17, 2019) – Two people including, a 4-month-old boy, were killed earlier this month in a head-on crash in Granbury, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash took place around 6:30 p.m. on October 7, on Tin Top Highway.

DPS said a 32-year-old man from Palm Harbor, Florida, was driving a 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck northbound on the highway when he veered into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on into a 2016 Mitsubishi.

The Mitsubishi driver, Krystal Shelton Snyder, 39, of Granbury, was taken to Lake Granbury Med Center where she later died. A 4-month-old boy in the Mitsubishi was airlifted to Cook Children’s Hospital, where he later died.

The pickup driver was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
