Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road near Fountain View Drive

Houston, Texas (November 7, 2023) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday night in Houston, police said.

The deadly crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6 in the 5800 block of Westheimer Road near Fountain View Drive.

The man was running a across the mainlanes outside a crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver stopped and attempted to to help the man until medical personnel arrived. He was declared dead at the scene.

The driver was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
