One Killed and One Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Loop 410
San Antonio, Texas (January 21, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday night in San Antonio, according to police.
The fatal crash happened around 11:30 p.m., January 18, on Loop 410 South, between Interstate 37 and W.W. White Road.
Police said two motorcyclists were part of a biking club who were racing on the highway when they collided.
The crash caused an 18-wheeler to lose control and overturn.
One of the motorcyclists, a 30-year-old man, was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.
The other motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital for treatment. Officers said he would face criminal charges.
The 18-wheeler driver was not seriously injured in the crash.
The crash closed both directions of Loop 410.
The crash remains under investigation.
