The Woodlands, Texas (October 29, 2020) – Two people were injured after an 18-wheeler crashed into a restaurant on Tuesday in The Woodlands, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 7:00 p.m., October 27, at a Pappas Bar-B-Q Restaurant off the North Freeway near Woodson Road.

Authorities said a vehicle crashed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler. The impact caused the driver of the 18-wheeler to lose control, driver across three lanes, and crash into a guard rail. The truck then crossed four lanes on the feeder road and crashed into the restaurant.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No one inside the restaurant was injured in the crash.

An investigation is underway.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons for driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
