Eddie Harrison Killed in Northeast Harris County Bicycle Accident on FM 1960 near Hardy Toll Road

Harris County, Texas (April 16, 2020) – The man who was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run bicycle accident in northeast Harris County has been identified as Eddie Harrison, according to deputies.

The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. April 14, in the 1100 block of FM 1960 just west of the Hardy Toll Road.

Deputies said Harrison was riding a bicycle when he was hit by an unknown blue vehicle that was traveling westbound in the outside lane.

Harrison was found lying on the outside shoulder ramp of the highway and was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the blue vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid. 

An investigation into the crash is underway. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call HCSO 713 274 7400.
