Vickie Capps Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on South Loop 335 in Randall County
Vickie Capps ID’d as Woman Killed in Randall County Truck Crash on South Loop 335 at South Osage Street
Randall County, Texas (June 13, 2019) – The woman who was killed on Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident involving a semi truck in Randall County has been identified as Vickie Capps, 62, of Amarillo, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at about 4:08 p.m., on Tuesday, June 11, at South Loop 335 and South Osage Street between Osage and Grand.
Authorities said Capps was driving southbound on Binder Street when she entered the main lanes of South Loop 335. Capps tried to make a U-turn and her vehicle was hit by a semi-truck driven by Prosper Kodzo, 52, of San Antonio.
DPS said Capps was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
