46-Year-Old Donna Falkenberg Killed in San Antonio 18-Wheeler Crash on Interstate 10 near Dominion Drive
San Antonio, Texas (May 23, 2020) – The 46-year-old woman who was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash involving an 18-wheeler in San Antonio has been identified as Donna Falkenberg, 46, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly crash happened around 5:30 a.m. May 22, on I-10 near Dominion Drive.
Police said an 18-wheeler, an International model, rear-ended an eastbound Ford Fiesta driven by Falkenberg.
Falkenberg was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the 18-wheeler, Justin Antwan Jackson, 29, fled the scene after the crash. The big rig was found parked near the Shops at Rivercenter.
Jackson was later located and was arrested at Bowie and E. Crockett Streets. He was charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid resulting in death.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
