One Killed in Bastrop County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 71 near Enchanted Cove

Bastrop County, Texas – One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a T-bone crash in Bastrop County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on Highway 71, near Enchanted Cove.

DPS said a vehicle was heading eastbound on the highway when it T-boned another vehicle that was attempting to cross the highway.

The driver of the vehicle that was trying to cross the highway was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

No additional information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
