Apolinario Raymundo Killed, Domingo Ramos and Joslyn Rodriguez Injured in Lamb County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 70

Lamb County, Texas (September 20, 2022) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Lamb County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:25 p.m., September 18, on US 70, just east of Muleshoe.

DPS said a vehicle was heading eastbound on the highway when it crossed into the westbound lane and crashed into a westbound vehicle driven by 44-year-old Apolinario Raymundo.

The impact caused Raymundo’s vehicle to roll into a ditch.

Raymundo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both passengers in Raymundo’s vehicle, Domingo Ramos, 19, and Joslyn Rodriguez, 19, both of Muleshoe, were taken to Muleshoe Area Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
