Officer Hospitalized after Denton Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35E

Denton, Texas (January 15, 2020) – A Denton police officer was injured Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Denton, according to the police.

The crash occurred at about 8:42 a.m. on Interstate 35E near Highway 380.

Police said an SUV was heading southbound on the interstate when the driver lost control and hit a Denton police vehicle, pushing it into a barrier.

A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.

The officer who was in the patrol vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
