Jasmin Maria Truong ID’d as Woman Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on I-10 West at Porfirio Diaz

El Paso, Texas (September 17, 2019) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning in El Paso has been identified as 21-year-old Jasmin Maria Truong, according to the officials.

The accident occurred around 1:52 a.m. September 14, on I-10 west at Porfirio Diaz.

Officials said Truong walked into oncoming traffic and was hit by a 2007 Honda Civic on the far-right lane.

The driver exited the freeway, but the passengers stayed at the scene and rendered aid to Truong.

Truong was transported to University Medical Center where she later died.

An investigation is ongoing.
