Woman Killed in Garland Pedestrian Crash on LBJ Freeway

Garland, Texas (August 2, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night in Garland, according to a police report.

The crash took place at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, August 1, on the LBJ Freeway near Garland Road.

Police said a woman was trying to cross the street when she was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
