Two Children and Two Adults Injured in Katy Bus Crash on Kingsland Boulevard at Pickford Drive

Katy, Texas (March 9, 2022) – Four people were injured Tuesday morning in a bus crash in Katy, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 7:00 a.m., March 8, in the area of Kingsland Boulevard and Pickford Drive.

Deputies said the crash involved a METRO bus and Katy ISD bus.

Two of the five students on the school bus were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An adult attendant of the school bus was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

The operator on the Park & Ride bus was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

There were no passengers on the Park & Ride bus at the time of the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
