One Injured in Truck Crash on Highway 287 in Wichita Falls 

Person Hospitalized After Wichita Falls Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 287 and City View Drive

Wichita Falls, Texas (August 4, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Monday in Wichita Falls, according to officials.

The crash happened on August 3, at Highway 287 and City View Drive.

Officials said a white truck was traveling westbound while a semi-truck was traveling eastbound.

For unknown reasons, the truck crossed into the eastbound traffic and rear-ended the semi-truck’s trailer.

The driver of the white truck, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed eastbound Highway 287.

The Wichita Falls Police Department is investigating the crash.
