DeQuan Hodge Driver Killed in Big Rig Crash on Highway 377 at Stewart in Denton

Frisco Man DeQuan Hodge ID’d as Driver Killed in Denton County Crash on Highway 377 at Stewart

Denton County, Texas (January 11, 2019) – A Frisco man has been identified as the driver who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-big rig crash in northeast Denton County.
According to the Northeast Police Department, DeQuan Hodge, 29, died in the crash that occurred on Wednesday, January 9, on Highway 377 at Stewart, south of Krugerville.
As per the report, Hodge was operating a truck that slammed into the rear of another commercial truck. One of the trucks overturned after the crash while the other one lost a portion of its load, blocking all lanes of Highway 377.
Hodge died in the crash while the other driver walked away with minor injuries.
Authorities closed both directions of the highway at Stewart as they worked on the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
