Juan Garcia ID’d as Man Killed in Fort Worth Pedestrian Accident at Vaughn Boulevard and Avenue H

Fort Worth, Texas (August 18, 2022) – The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died following a hit-and-run crash Friday night at an intersection in Fort Worth as Juan Garcia, 74.

The deadly crash happened at about 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, at the intersection of Vaughn Boulevard and Avenue H.

Authorities said a black SUV was traveling northbound when it failed to yield to Garcia, who was lawfully crossing the intersection.

Garcia died in the crash.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
