One Killed in Panola County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 79 North at FM 9

Panola County, Texas (December 1, 2023) – One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Panola County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 4:16 p.m., November 30, on U.S. 79 North at FM 9.

Deputies said the crash involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.

One of the drivers was killed in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The DPS troopers are investigating the crash.
