Laredo, Texas – According to the DPS, two Angel Care Ambulance Service workers were injured Tuesday morning in an ambulance crash northwest of Laredo.

The crash happened around 10:05 a.m., April 16, in the area of Texas 255 and FM 3338.

DPS said an ambulance was responding to an emergency call and was traveling westbound on Texas 255. It attempted to turn onto FM 3338 and struck a tanker truck that was traveling eastbound on Texas 255.

The driver and passenger of the ambulance were taken to the hospital with incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the tanker truck was uninjured in the crash.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
