Two Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 16 near Jett Road

San Antonio, Texas – Two people were injured Sunday night in a head-on collision in San Antonio, according to the deputies.

The crash happened on December 31, on State Highway 16, near Jett Road.

Deputies said a silver truck crossed in front of a black vehicle, crashing head-on into it.

The people inside the silver truck fled the scene on foot.

The driver of the black vehicle was believed to have been intoxicated. He was trapped and had to be extricated. His condition was not disclosed.

Two juvenile passengers in the black vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
