Willow Park, Texas (February 3, 2021) – Two people were injured after a pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in south Fort Worth, according to authorities.

The crash happened on February 1, on Interstate 20 at McCart Avenue.

The pursuit started around 3:10 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway when a state trooper attempted to stop a Dodge Durango for a traffic violation. The Durango driver, a 37-year-old woman, sped away, leading to a pursuit.

The Durango rear-ended a box truck and hit two other vehicles. The impact caused those two vehicles to hit two other vehicles.

The Durango driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another person was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
