Fernando Victoria-Gonzalez Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 near Culebra Road

San Antonio, Texas (October 22, 2020) – The man who was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in San Antonio has been identified as Fernando Victoria-Gonzalez, 53, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened just after 4:00 a.m., October 20, in the southbound lanes of Loop 410 near Culebra Road.

According to the report, the driver of a pickup truck said he was heading to work when he hit something in the main lanes of the highway. He immediately stopped and realized that he had hit a man.

The man, Victoria-Gonzalez, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The accident closed the main lanes of Loop 410.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
