Two Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at Currier Street and Austin Street

San Angelo, Texas (June 7, 2022) – Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m., June 6, at the intersection of Currier Street southbound and Austin Street northbound.

Police said a black Nissan Frontier ran a red light at the intersection and struck a White Ford Expedition, which was heading eastbound on Knickerbocker.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The Frontier driver was cited for disregarding a red light.

The police are investigating the crash.
