2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth

Two Injured in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash on East Lancaster Avenue at South Beach Street

Fort Worth, Texas (April 6, 2021) – Two people, including a Fort Worth police officer, were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Fort Worth, according to police.

The crash occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m., April 5, on East Lancaster Avenue at the intersection of South Beach Street.

Police said a sedan ran a red light at the intersection and struck a marked Fort Worth police patrol SUV.

The officer in the patrol vehicle and the sedan driver were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.

No other injuries were reported.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
