Worker Killed and Another Injured in Conroe Electrocution Accident at Margaritaville Lake Resort

Conroe, Texas (July 16, 2021) – According to the authorities, a worker was electrocuted, and another was shocked on Thursday at a resort in Conroe.

The deadly accident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m., on July 15, at Margaritaville Lake Resort on Lake Conroe.

Authorities said a crew was performing underground electrical work when something happened, causing electricity to ignite.

The worker who was leaning into the manhole was killed in the accident. 

Another worker sustained burns in his hands. He was holding wires behind the other worker.

The authorities are conducting the investigation.
