2 Juveniles Airlifted after Truck Hits ATV at Barber Street and Elm Avenue in Midland

Two Girls Injured in Midland ATV Crash at Barber Street and Elm Avenue

Midland, Texas (June 17, 2023) – Two juveniles were airlifted to a hospital following a collision between a truck and an all-terrain vehicle on Sunday night in Midland, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 9:23 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at the intersection of Barber Street and Elm Avenue.

As per the report, a 27-year-old man was driving a Yamaha ATV eastbound in the alley of the 300 block of Elm Avenue when he attempted to cross Barber Street and was struck by a Ford F350 pickup that was heading northbound in the 2100 block of Barber Street.

Two girls who were in the ATV were airlifted to UMC Children’s Hospital in Lubbock. The ATV driver was taken to a hospital.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
