Two Killed and One Critically Injured in Fredericksburg Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 87 near RR 2323

Fredericksburg, Texas (February 26, 2022) – Two people were killed, and another was critically injured Friday morning in a fiery two-vehicle crash in Fredericksburg, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 6:15 a.m., February 25, on Highway 87 North near RR 2323.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.

Two people were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

One other person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed Highway 87 for an unspecified period of time.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
