Darius Brown Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Overbrook Lane and Kirkwood Road in Houston

Darius Brown ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Houston Crash at Overbrook Lane and Kirkwood Road

Houston, Texas (April 13, 2022) – The motorcyclist who died Saturday night following a traffic crash in Houston has been identified as Darius Brown.

The deadly crash happened at about 9:50 p.m. on April 9 near the intersection of Overbrook Lane and Kirkwood Road.

Authorities said Brown was riding a motorcycle westbound on Overbrook Lane at an alleged high rate of speed when he lost control and overturned.  A Mitsubishi Lancer then hit Brown in the roadway.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The Lancer driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. The motorist was not intoxicated at the time of the accident and was released.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
