2 Killed in DWI Crash on Loop 12 in NW Dallas

Two Killed in NW Dallas Three-Vehicle Crash on Loop 12

Dallas, Texas – Two people were killed early Saturday morning in a crash involving a suspected intoxicated driver in Northwest Dallas, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 a.m., December 9, on northbound Loop 12, or North Walton Walker Boulevard and Northwest Highway.

Deputies said three vehicles were involved in the crash. 

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

The driver who was suspected of driving while intoxicated has pending DWI charges. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash closed Loop 12 for several hours and traffic was diverted to Northwest Highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
