2 Officers Injured in DWI Crash on Field Street in Dallas; Henroc Davila-Beltran Arrested

Two Police Officers Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Field Street near Ross Avenue; Henroc Davila-Beltran Arrested

Dallas, Texas (February 28, 2023) – Two Dallas police officers were injured early Monday morning in a crash involving a drunk driver in downtown Dallas, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m., February 27, on North Field near Ross Avenue.

Police said the officers were driving their patrol car northbound on the street when they were struck by a pickup truck.

The front of the police car was badly damaged in the crash, and the airbags in the truck were deployed.

One of the officers was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other officer was treated and released at the scene.

The pickup truck driver, Henroc Davila-Beltran, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is facing a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The crash remains under investigation.
