Kerrville, Texas – A 2-year-old boy was fatally hit by a car Saturday afternoon in Kerrville, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 2:30 p.m., April 6, at a residence on Pearl Street near Paschal Ave.

Authorities said a vehicle was backing out of a driveway when the boy ran behind the vehicle and was struck.

The boy was taken to Peterson Regional Medical, where he died from his injuries. His name has not been released.

No additional information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
