24-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road near Camay Drive

Houston, Texas (December 18, 2020) – A 24-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday afternoon in Houston, according to police.

The fatal crash happened at about 3:30 p.m., December 15, in the 6200 block of Tidwell Road near the intersection of Camay Drive. 

Police said a gold pickup truck was traveling northbound and was turning left when it crashed into a westbound green Jeep Wrangler driven by a 24-year-old man.

The force of the impact caused the Jeep to overturn, and the driver was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The pickup truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
