Three Injured in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1960 and Cypress Station

Harris County, Texas (May 20, 2022) – Three people were injured early Friday morning following a crash involving a chase suspect in Harris County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened shortly before 4:00 a.m., at the intersection of FM 1960 and Cypress Station.

Authorities said deputies tried to stop the suspect, who was in an SUV, but the driver sped away and was pursued by the deputies.

The suspect then collided with another car occupied by three people at the intersection.

The three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officials in Montgomery County, where the chase started, said the SUV had just been stolen, but they didn’t know that at the time. The suspect was taken into custody, and he is facing felony charges.

The crash remains under investigation.
