4 Hospitalized After Major Crash on N Loop 1604 at Bitters Road in San Antonio

Four Hospitalized After San Antonio Car Crash on N Loop 1604 E and Bitters Road

San Antonio, Texas (July 18, 2021) – According to the police, four people were hospitalized early Sunday following a major traffic accident in San Antonio’s North Side.

The crash happened around 1:20 a.m., in the 2300 block of N Loop 1604 E at Bitters Road.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

At least one person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles.

Two adults were taken to University Hospital with serious injuries. Two children were also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the other involved vehicle was being investigated for DWI.

The crash closed the main lanes of N loop 1604 E.

An investigation is underway.
