4 Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 80 in Terrell

Four Hurt in Terrell Car Crash on Highway 80

Terrell, Texas (February 16, 2019) – Four people were injured in a head-on collision on Friday afternoon in Terrell, according to the Terrell Police Department.
The crash occurred on US Highway 80 near FM 1392 on Friday, February 15.
Police said a 2005 Saturn Ion crossed over the center median and collided head-on with an oncoming 2018 Toyota Avalon. It’s unclear why the Saturn crossed the center median.
The driver of the Saturn, a Dallas woman, was airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Her male passenger was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.  A boy in the same vehicle was transported to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
The Avalon driver was taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
There were no details on the extent of injuries suffered by all the patients.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
