One Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 71 near Lakeway

Austin, Texas (March 10, 2021) – According to officials, one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Austin.

The deadly crash occurred in the 204000 block of West State Highway 71 near Lakeway.

Officials said the crash involved a vehicle and a semi-truck.

One person was pinned in the vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
