2 Killed, 3 Injured in Head-On Crash on SH 16 in Fredericksburg

Two Killed and Three Injured in Fredericksburg Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 16

Fredericksburg, Texas (July 25, 2021) – Two people were killed, and three others were injured Saturday night in a head-on collision in Fredericksburg, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:12 p.m., July 24, in the 3000 block of State Highway 16 South.

Police said a pickup truck was traveling southbound on the highway when it crashed head-on into a minivan that was traveling northbound on the same roadway.

The pickup driver and the front seat passenger of the minivan were pronounced dead at the scene.

The minivan driver and two backseat passengers were airlifted to San Antonio hospitals for treatment.

The police are investigating the crash.
