San Angelo, Texas (January 7, 2022) – Four people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash occurred on January 6, at the intersection of Southwest Blvd and Sunset Blvd.

Police said a maroon Ford Fusion was traveling southbound on Southwest Blvd when it ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a Toyota Tundra that was traveling eastbound on Sunset Blvd.

All four occupants of the Fusion were taken to Shannon with no major injuries. At least two of the victims were children.

The Tundra driver was uninjured in the crash.

The Fusion driver will be cited for driving without a license and disregarding a red light.

The crash remains under investigation.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
