5 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on SH 130 in Del Valle

Five Injured in Del Valle Semi-Truck Crash on State Highway 130

Del Valle, Texas (April 23, 2022) – Five people were injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in Del Valle, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 10:46 a.m., in the 5432 block of South State Highway 130 northbound service road, between Elroy Road and Pearce Lane.

Authorities said the crash involved a semi-truck and an SUV.

At least two people were pinned in their vehicles and had to be extricated.

Five people were injured in the crash.

One person was taken to South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries. A second person was also taken to South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

A child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
