Five Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Hardy Toll Road at Rankin

Houston, Texas (December 5, 2021) – Five people were injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the deputies.

The crash happened at about 3:00 a.m., December 4, on the Hardy Toll Road at Rankin.

Deputies said a family of four was traveling northbound on the toll road when their vehicle hit a concrete wall, spun out, and stopped in the middle of the roadway.

The father got out of the vehicle to get his two children, and that is when a second vehicle T-boned their vehicle. They had to be extricated. 

The father and the children, one of them a toddler, were taken to local hospitals in critical condition.

The second driver and the mother were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
