58-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Beechnut Street in Houston

58-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Beechnut Street

Houston, Texas (February 18, 2021) – A 58-year-old man was killed last week Friday in a hit-and-run crash in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:50 p.m., February 12, in the 9900 block of Beechnut Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
