One Killed and Three Injured in Leon County Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Leon County, Texas (December 2, 2019) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Leon County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 45.

DPS said the crash involved two 18-wheelers and a passenger car.

The driver of the passenger car was declared dead at the scene. A passenger was airlifted to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The drivers of both 18-wheelers were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash closed I-45 for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
