30-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in Car Crash on I-10 near Cloverleaf

One Hospitalized after Cloverleaf Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near Uvalde
Cloverleaf, Texas (January 4, 2019) – A 30-year-old man was critically injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on a freeway near Cloverleaf, according to the police.
The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. January 3, on Interstate 10 near Uvalde.
Police said the man was driving eastbound on 10 Freeway weaving between other drivers when he lost control of the car. He then spun out and came to rest in the middle of the freeway where he was struck by an oncoming Kia Sorento driven by a woman.
The woman couldn’t stop on time and struck the driver’s side of the man’s car.
The man sustained critical injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital. His name has not been disclosed.
The woman sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
