Police Officer Hurt in San Antonio Traffic Accident on Huebner and Vance Jackson

San Antonio, Texas (May 18, 2019)  – A San Antonio Police Department officer was hospitalized following a traffic accident on Thursday night.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, on Huebner and Vance Jackson.
Police said a patrol vehicle was stopped at a red light at the intersection when it was struck by a sedan.
An officer riding in the patrol vehicle was injured in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Intoxication was not suspected to be involved in the collision.
The crash is under investigation.
