6 Students, Driver Injured Multi-Vehicle Crash at Loop 1604 North and Highway 90 in San Antonio

Six Scobee Middle School Students, Driver Injured in San Antonio Crash at Loop 1604 North and Highway 90 West

San Antonio, Texas (October 19, 2023) – Six Scobee Middle School students and a bus driver were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in San Antonio, according to authorities.

The crash happened at about 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, near the intersection of Loop 1604 North and Highway 90 West.

Authorities said a school bus and several other vehicles were involved in the collision. The bus, which belongs to Scobee Middle School, was carrying 20 children.

Six students were injured, but not critically. The patients were taken to the nearest hospital in stable condition.

The bus driver was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
